So I haven't posted in a while, not because of the lack of wonderful fall-like items but, because I've been horribly busy! I'm currently house-sitting for a friend of mine, who happens to have 4 dogs!!
All four, very spoiled, animals find comfort in these...
Amazing dog beds that are pretty, economically friendly and virtually indestructible. Trust me. You can find them on the main website: http://www.cryptonfabric.com/shop/
Or, if you're thinking the price is a little outrageous but are in LOVE, try Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001F06AMQ/ref=oss_product
You won't be disappointed :)

Kitchy
I love green.
You could paint the ugliest piece of furniture a pretty seafoam and I'm head over heals.
Knowing that, here are the latte bowls that stole my heart.

I have them displayed in an old cabinet made from reclaimed wood and old glass windows.
It looks something like this:

To make the different shades of green stand out I placed dark brown tissue paper on the bottom of the shelves. Needless to say, I've gotten many inquires about why I have so many green bowls but, people love them. They're especially popular when served with homemade ice-cream.

Vintage Inspired Dining
Happy Sunday Everyone!
I was scoping out the latest Pottery Barn magazine this morning and honestly daydreaming a little about what all I'd buy if; well if I won the lottery! I recently bought these simple black chairs that look almost exactly like the ones in the Pottery Barn picture below, for a fraction of the cost. http://www.potterybarn.com/products/aaron-chair/?pkey=x|4|1||10|chair||0&cm_src=SCH
Thank you CSN Stores!
http://www.csnstores.com/Home-Styles-5178-80-HO1482.html?cv=
They look great with my all black table but I want to spruce them up and add a unique twist.
That's where the vintage enamel house numbers come in!
How adorable are these going to look when they're screwed onto the back of my chairs?!
I'll be sure to update you on my fabulous new addition later when I finally receive my French numbers!

In the meantime, I hope everyone enjoys a lazy summer Sunday.

Bring on the Light!
Since it's a little rainy and dark today I'm forced to turn on my lights. Normally this is something I hate to do; I'm a natural light kind of girl, ya know? But, it just so happens that my light is a pretty mercury pendant that my loving boyfriend finally hung for me.
It looks something like this-
And it's everything you're thinking it will or ever could be. Promise.

First Time For Everything, Right?
Hi All!
So, I was having drinks with a friend last night at a fantastic bar in downtown Athens. We happened to be talking about her new house and what she could possibly do to make it look homey. She easily gets overwhelmed with stuff like this so I'm her support. I was telling her about a million different ideas that I had and she stopped, looked at me and said, "You should really start a blog. You know way more about this stuff that regular people should know". No joke. So, here I am and here we go.
This is my very first post as a blogger and I've got to be honest, it's a little intimidating. But, I'll get over that one and share one of my great finds for my friend's house....
This is the rug I picked out for her dining room because it happens to be an indoor/outdoor rug and resistant to her 4 beautiful dogs, AKA her children. These are all sold at Dash and Albert.

We fell in love with the green striped one, mainly because I have a soft spot for stripes and green really perked up her wooden floors. Perfection.
